Pareidolia is a duo investigating the radical extremes of scale, presence and absence – sounding phenomenon which usually lie beyond the human threshold of perceptions, reconfiguring the relationship of instrument and performer in space, plucking spectral voices from air.
Pareidolia is Marta Zapparoli and Liz Allbee.
Marta works with antennas (some self-built), world-wide radio receivers, SDR, detectors, tapes. Liz works with spatialized self-designed trumpet, voice and electronics.
Pareidolia is quadraphonic.
